Owl 1 vs. Owl 2

The Owl 1 and Owl 2 are nearly identical and can be difficult to tell apart at first glance.  This is even more difficult since the labels for both Owl viewers read “Owl 1”.  The only visible physical difference between the two is the interior size of the openings of the viewing window.  The Owl 1 has an opening of 5 1/2” and the Owl 2 has an opening of 6”.  The Owl 1 came in a variety of colors while (to date) the Owl 2 has only been available in black.
